Pamela Kraus
As a research scientist at FACET Innovations, Pamela is currently working on the Diagnoser Tools and related professional development research projects. In collaboration with resource teachers from across the state of Washington, she is helping conduct the research on facet clusters and build the assessment and instructional Diagnoser tools in the physical sciences. In addition, she works closely with classroom teachers as they implement these diagnostic tools back in their schools and districts. Pam earned her Ph.D. in physics at the University of Washington in 1997 after being a middle and high school science teacher. She worked at the Pacific Science Center from 1997 to 2000 in their Teacher Education program before joining Jim Minstrell at Talaria, Inc. to work on the Diagnoser Project.
