Pamela Kraus
Pamela Kraus is a Research Scientist and a co-founder of FACET Innovations. After working as a middle and high school science teacher, Pam was a lead teaching assistant for the physics department at the University of Washington, researching, designing and conducting courses for students and teachers. Also, prior to coming to FI she managed an NSF-funded local systemic change project and taught science education workshops at the Pacific Science Center.
At FACET Innovations Pamela works on a variety of research, development and evaluation projects. She is co-PI on several projects to build additional content to the Diagnoser tools. In collaboration with resource teachers and school districts from across the state of Washington, she conducts research on students’ facets of thinking, designs and delivers teacher professional development, and builds diagnostic assessment tools and resources.
Pam received her BA in physics from Carleton College and her Masters and Ph.D. in physics from the University of Washington.
